New · Q2 2026 algorithm release

A trading algorithm for electronics wholesale.

Lumera continuously scans 40M+ electronics SKUs across wholesale distributors and retailer clearance, matches each one against live bids from a vetted network of cashout groups, and routes the profitable spreads to your desk — before the window closes.

Platform

The full stack for electronics arbitrage.

Sourcing, pricing, scoring, and execution — in one operating system instead of fifteen browser tabs.

Source discovery

Ingests real-time pricing, stock, and MOQs from 8 major electronics distributors, plus retailer clearance windows, B-stock feeds, and liquidation auctions — unified on a single SKU graph.

Cashout network

Live bid prices from the major US electronics cashout groups — BFMR, Buying Group, Electronics Buyer, and LA Electronics Buyer — polled continuously. No more cold-calling for quotes.

Margin scoring engine

Every source-to-cashout spread is fed through the Lumera model: fees, freight, ship-in costs, velocity, cashout-group payout history, and risk of bid collapse — scored 0 to 100.

Live signal routing

High-confidence spreads land on your desk within 90 seconds of a market move. Slack, email, webhook, or the Lumera API — your choice of transport.

Execution workflow

Each signal arrives with a source buy-link, the pre-quoted cashout group, handoff terms, escrow checklist, and a per-unit net forecast. Close the trade without leaving Lumera.

Built for serious desks

Role-based access, audit logs, two-factor auth, and end-to-end encrypted cashout handoffs. Designed for desks clearing six figures of inventory per week.

The algorithm

Forty-seven features. One margin score.

Lumera’s model treats every SKU like a tradable instrument. Each spread between a source (wholesale, retail clearance, B-stock) and a live cashout-group bid is evaluated against fees, freight, escrow, buyer reliability, and historical bid-collapse patterns.

How it works

From raw price feed to booked deal

Four stages, fully instrumented. Every step is observable, auditable, and replayable.

01

Ingest

Wholesale catalogs, retailer APIs, and live cashout-group bid feeds flow into a unified SKU graph — normalized by UPC, model, and variant.

  • Fiber-grade fetchers (Chrome JA3/JA4 fingerprint)
  • UPC + GTIN resolution across every source
  • Live cashout-group bid polling
02

Score

The Lumera margin model weighs every source-to-cashout spread against 47 features, including buyer reliability and bid-collapse probability.

  • Landed cost (fees, freight, escrow)
  • Cashout-group reliability scoring
  • Confidence-weighted ranking
03

Route

High-confidence signals — each with a pre-quoted cashout buyer — land on your desk in under 90 seconds.

  • Slack + email + webhook
  • REST & WebSocket API
  • Per-user signal thresholds
04

Execute

One-click workflow: buy from source, hand off to the matched cashout group, collect. Payment and reconciliation tracked end-to-end.

  • Source PO + basket deep-links
  • Cashout handoff + escrow terms
  • P&L reconciliation export
The desk

A trading desk for electronics flippers.

Purpose-built surfaces for sourcing, scoring, and routing deals to cashout groups — not a dashboard retrofitted from a generic BI tool.

Before Lumera, our sourcing team ran seven browser tabs and a spreadsheet. Now the algorithm surfaces the top ten deals the moment they exist — we’re clearing three times the volume at a cleaner margin.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

If you have a question that isn't covered here, our team is happy to walk you through the algorithm in detail.

How does Lumera source its pricing?
On the buy side: direct feed integrations with eight major electronics distributors (including D&H, Ingram Micro, and SYNNEX), plus liquidation and B-stock channels, plus real-time retailer clearance tracking. On the sell side: live bid polling from the major US electronics cashout groups — BFMR, Buying Group, Electronics Buyer, and LA Electronics Buyer. Every SKU is indexed across every source of supply and every buyer that will take it.
Which cashout groups does Lumera work with?
The big four US electronics cashout groups: BFMR, Buying Group, Electronics Buyer, and LA Electronics Buyer. Every signal arrives with a pre-matched buyer and their current bid. You can also bring your own private cashout contacts and whitelist them on your account — their bids will be factored into the margin model just like the network buyers.
How does the algorithm handle retailer anti-bot systems?
Our retailer fetchers use Chrome JA3/JA4 TLS fingerprinting and browser-grade request shaping, with fallbacks to official APIs (Target RedSky, Walmart Orchestra GraphQL, Costco gdx). We subscribe to price changes through officially published endpoints wherever available.
What counts as a "signal"?
A signal is a source-to-cashout spread where the Lumera margin model — after fees, freight, escrow, cashout-group reliability, and bid-collapse risk — projects a confidence-weighted profit above a configurable floor. The default threshold is 10% net margin at 85+ score.
Can I integrate Lumera into my own workflow?
Yes. Every signal is available via REST, WebSocket, webhook, and Slack. The Lumera API is the same one that powers the desk, so anything you see in the UI you can surface in your own internal tools.
Is Lumera built for resellers or for traders?
The product is designed around traders who flip to cashout groups rather than to end-consumers. The assumption is that you have warehouse capacity (or a drop-to-buyer workflow), working capital to act within 24 hours, and the appetite to move lots rather than listings. We are not a retail-arbitrage newsletter.

Put the algorithm to work on your next deal.

Request early access. We’ll walk you through the model, ingest a sample of your existing deal flow, and show you which cashout groups would have cleared it — with real numbers.
